The aim of the Essex Rheumatology Trust is to help people of all age groups
with Arthritis, Osteoporosis and other Musculoskeletal conditions by:

• Alleviating pain, suffering, disability and incapacity
  
  
  
• Assisting with patient education
  
  
  
• Supporting continuing education, development and training of clinicians and allied professionals
  
  
  
• Participating in the research and development of new equipment, drugs and services
  
  
  
• Developing awareness in wider society of the impact, suffering and disability of these conditions
  
  
  
• Working with NHS Trusts to facilitate and improve the provision of musculoskeletal care and treatment
  
  
  
• Working with International, National and Regional bodies for the implementation of standards
  of musculoskeletal care
