aim of the Essex Rheumatology Trust is to help people of
all age groups with Arthritis, Osteoporosis and other Musculoskeletal conditions
by:
- Alleviating pain, suffering, disability and incapacity
- Assisting with patient education
- Supporting continuing education, development and training
of clinicians
and allied professionals
- Participating in the research and development
of new equipment, drugs
and services
- Developing awareness in wider society of the impact,
suffering and
disability of these conditions
- Working with NHS Trusts to facilitate and improve the provision of musculoskeletal care and treatment
- Working with International, National and Regional bodies for the
implementation of standards of musculoskeletal care
